Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actor, performer and songwriter for several years. When she was a kid she was subjected to racial taunts by a lot of Americans. In her 9th year that she started to feel more confident after receiving a rousing ovation during an audition. She not only gained confidence through the audition, but she also changed plans for her career. When she was 22, she graduated from the New York's Julliard School. In 1993, she had her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. The character in The lad from The Lake is her biggest success, and earned her an award called the Tony Award in addition to critical acclaim for her performance. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC the show, she received more recognition. A singer by profession She has also recorded a single as well as an extended work. In addition, she is a LGBT activist.
