Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. Her role was praised by critics for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper, her debut television appearance in CBS' soap show Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the author of the Immortals film Immortals is being adapted for the large-screen. The actress will work with Vlas Parlapanides and Charley parlapanides. The upcoming television series Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
