Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actress. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over twenty years. Sheedy began her acting career in the film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Following her success with her debut film, she also appeared in the 1985 comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as among most memorable films of high school cinema. Despite the budget of one million dollars, the film's revenues exceeded $50 million. She also began appearing on a number of television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. The show was for teens and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was featured. Her most recent performances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where Sheedy appears in a cameo. Her incredible performances have earned numerous accolades including her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
