Sue Bird is a professional American basketball player that is a part of the Seattle Storm, WNBA Women's National Basketball Association. She has been a member of the Seattle Storm's three different WNBA-championship-winning squads. Sue Bird, who is from New York native, has Israeli citizenship through her dad. She plays for her birth country internationally and has been awarded the four Olympic gold medals, as well as four FIBA World Cups as part of the US national team. Sport was a passion that was born at an early stage of her life. She also played soccer, track and field, and tennis. In her freshman and sophomore years, she played for Syosset High School. Then during her third and fourth years in High School, she was transferred onto Christ the King Regional High School which had more sport.
